Information You Provide

Name and email address — collected when you submit the early access sign-up form or create an account.
Profile information — for coaches: experience, rates, availability, coaching style, and profile photo. For athletes: goals, profile photo, age, skill level, strengths, and training preferences.
Booking and scheduling data — session dates, times, duration, and any notes exchanged around bookings.
Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Communications — messages, feedback, reviews, and ratings submitted through the platform.

Information Collected Automatically

Usage and device data — log data, browser type, device identifiers, IP address, pages visited, and how you interact with the Services.
Cookies and session tokens — used to maintain your login session and secure platform access.

Background Check Data

Coaches on the platform are required to complete an annual background check. This process is conducted by a third-party background check provider. We receive a pass/fail result and use it solely to verify coach eligibility. Detailed background check records are handled by the third-party provider under their own privacy practices.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including booking, scheduling, and payment features.
Create and manage athlete and coach profiles.
Facilitate connections between athletes and coaches.
Send you platform updates, early access invites, and requests for feedback (for email sign-ups).
Process payments and send booking confirmations.
Conduct and display coach background check results.
Respond to support requests and customer service inquiries.
Monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following circumstances:

Between Athletes and Coaches

When a booking is made, relevant profile information is shared between the athlete and coach to facilitate the session. This includes names, session details, and profile content you have made visible on the platform.

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the Services, including:

Stripe: Payment processing — to handle booking transactions securely.
Background check providers — to verify coach eligibility.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run and maintain the platform.
Analytics providers — to understand usage and improve the Services.

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, protect the rights and safety of StreamLine, our users, or others, or to detect and prevent fraud or security incidents.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to the acquirer honoring the commitments in this policy.

Early access email sign-ups — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Usage and log data — retained for up to 24 months and then anonymized or deleted.

The Services are available to users who are at least 13 years old. Users under 18 must have the permission of, and be supervised by, a parent or guardian.
